Style Trends for Spring 2012
It seems everything old is new again! The fashion gurus have spoken and they're saying the hottest trends this Spring will include: Bright Colored Color Blocking, Pastel Colors (especially Mint Green), High Gloss Metallic Shoes, Bright Bold Florals, Mixing Prints and Polka Dots. Let's walk back in time....the 40's-50's brought us some wonderful pastel and floral dresses (and a few pairs of metallic shoes), the 60's-70's brought in the ever popular polka dots, more florals and pastels, the 80's-90's and even 2000's brought in mixing prints, color blocking and don't forget the fluorescents (watch what happens when we turn the lights out and turn a black light on - yes I was a teenager in the 80's!).
What does all this tell you? Well it tells us that no matter what era we are in - wear what appeals to you! Buy a little something new to mix with something you already have!
