About Consignment in Ely
What is Consignment?
(con-sign): To transfer items into the hands of an agent to be sold on your behalf. Another term for consignment is resale.
The popularity of consignment shopping continues to grow because people are concerned about paying the high prices that most retail stores demand. Today’s shopper is a smart shopper who believes being green can be stylish, classic and elegant and also be proud of the great bargains they find when resale shopping. In fact, consignment has become the second fastest growing segment of the retail industry, only behind discount department stores.
